Background |
| Private sector
development has become one of the core interests of
the government, donors and facilitating organizations.
However, it has been realized on the part of donors,
facilitating projects and organizations and government
line agencies that there has not been much knowledge,
experiences shared among themselves hence, no coordinated
efforts initiated. In order to have well- functioning
knowledge and information network and coordination
of efforts instead of duplicating, a need of a well
–organized platform/ forum is felt by/ among
providers, facilitators and donors, Business Membership
Organizations and also Government line agencies. Therefore,
Lotus Opportunities came up with an idea of having
a forum with the support of SNV Nepal in their endeavour,
where experiences, ideas and knowledge could be shared.
