Network meeting on Enterprise Development was organized on January 28, 2005 at SDC. A total of 30 members attended the meeting. Ms. Muna Shrestha moderated the meeting. Ms. Shrestha recapitulated on the previous Enterprise Development Network Meeting and thanked SDC for organizing the Ninth EDN Forum.

Two presentations were made in the meeting. Mr. Salik Ram Sharma, CMF presented on Development & Outreach of Formal Micro finance Institute/Programmes. Mr. Saraj Rai, AEPC on Solar Home System (SHS) promotion and role of micro-credit, made the Second Presentation. The first presentation was on development and outreach of formal micro finance institutions/ programs as the other side of the enterprise development. The presentation was about the role of micro finance in alleviating poverty in Nepal. The second presentation by Mr. Saraj Rai was on the topic Solar Home Systems (SHS) Promotion and Role of Micro Credit being key to continue dissemination of SHS to reach the poor.

Towards the end, Mr. Eak Bahadur Gurung wrapped up the forum.
